M2:
Media sector : The media sector my product falls into is film and is targeted at 18+ and is gender neutral so it is targeted at men and women.
Title : The title I went with is the shadows beneath because everything else I produced was already a thing and the title I went with is eye caching a has a mysterious factor to it.
Actors : The 4 main actors are Dylan O'Brian, Thomas Brodie, Jennifer Lawrence and Elisabeth Moss well know actors and actresses who have a lot of experience in horror, action, and thriller films.
Imagery : The imagery I used mainly consists off dark gloomy images with little colour, this is to try and catch the users’ eye and then they will see my film poster and the thrill it brings, the low saturation isn't high on the pictures and the poses the characters also shows the struggle they are going through from the fatigued look that you can interpret, and the character holding the axe to make you wonder why he would need, It what's after them what do they need to protect themselves from.
Fonts : The font I used was the normal Calibri (body) with low opacity, so it looks like it is coming through the clouds and makes you look for other minute details in the poster making you more interested in the film and the film poster that I made.
General colours, layout, and position of
elements : The general colours I used were black for the majority of it to fit the horror, thriller and mysterious home to the film and I decided on orange for the sky in the end to give that dusk feel to the poster, I also used white behind some of the characters to make them stand out better and glow, I used red on the axe, an extraordinarily little amount for the little details to make it look better and more professional but I also like the way it looks, the layout of the film poster is made so it looks like they are climbing a mountain or hill with the moon coming up or going down the mountain to show the scenery and could hint at location of the film, the position of all the elements are on purpose and for a reason the moon is by behind the mountain to show the time of day/night and the characters are climbing the mountain/hill and are showing their struggle and determination with 5 characters when there is 4 main characters, maybe a secret character makes the user think and adds to the mysterious factor of the film and the film poster.
Tone and feel : The tone of my poster is scary and thrill while having mysterious factors well supposed to be and they are supposed to make the user look and investigate the poster and draw their attention increasingly to the film itself and make them want to see the whole thing from start to finish and fills them with curiosity and excitement.
