we first wrote our name in red, yellow and orange to represent the colours of fire and we also did a black one as well to make our name still be visible and to accentuate the flame more, we could of also used white to make it look like brighter flame we the layered them over each other to get the fire/flame effect

.in  Photoshop  save  an  image  of  a  face  from  the  internet  as  an  asset  and  save  as  a  PNG. . 

Open  a  new  page  and  make  i t a  rectangle,  similar  to  the shape  of  the  john  Lennon  image  on  this  page. .Place  the  image  and  the  free  transform  this  to  take  up  as  much  space  on  the  right  hand  side  as  the  Lennon  example   .

For  this  task  we  will  select  grey  scale  which  will  discard  the  color ( image  - mode  grey  scale )  .Right  click  on  the  locked  background  and  chose  layer  from  back  ground  to  unlock  . 

 Chose  filters   -   artistic   -   cut  out  and  use  the  sliders  to  separate  areas  on  the  face  (it  will  separate  it  into  tones  of  grey) .

Use  the  magic  wand  to  select  an  area  of  the  face  ( tone  of  grey ), go  to  select  ( top  row ) - select  similar

 we found a picture of a celebrity and made them unrecognizable by experimenting with different things in Photoshop

I had to copy the magazine of choice I had two options, either a play station one or a men's health one so I chose the men's health and I had to try copy it and make the closest to a replica as possible in 70 minutes but the time got extended because

I think it looks good and the final product would be very good but the Men'sHealth text could be in the correct position behind the persons head and the background color could be better and less plain

I had to create our own magazine of a magazine I got given without copying the images, using my own material to make it as presentable and recognizable as possible.

it looks good for a start but is definitely not finished and needs more work to be good

unit 20 formative

I used inDesign to make this copy for my formative, I used our given tools to make this and the tools I used was the stretch tool, the type tool and mostly filled it with place holder text by going to type and inserting it with place holder text which is at the bottom. 

I used the magnifying tool as well to zoom in on my work to get all the little details to make it perfect.then after I finished we had to remove all the borders by going onto view extras and selecting hide frames and boarders I also had multiple pictures to choose from to make our own version of this so not everyone will have the same on, in fact not anyone really will and then I put it onto our blog to be marked by our teacher
